Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2008
Four words: construction, construction, astronomical rent.
Stay away unless you're deaf and wealthy and don't want ANY communications from the "management" (a 25yo insincere spin meister).
To expound:
(1) construction for earthquake retrofit = significant loss of parking
(2) internal unit renovations = noise, intermittent loss of water,
(3) upcoming exterior replacement of all stucco = very, very noisy and dirty
(4) upcoming renovation of workout room = loss of facilities
And let's not forget the adjacent property where additional construction will be ongoing for the next year. Jack-hammering for the past month starts at 7a.m.
Rental market in Marin sucks, but I promise you do not want to be at this place for the next year.
