After being here for almost 5 years, I have decided to move out in December when my lease expires. The new management is very unprofessional, the apartment is run down and the annoyance of the major construction next door is too much.

I've only lived here a short time but have not seen too much construction to be annoyed about. I do get the sense that the office staff in general are not empowered to make decisions beyond the official policies which is very sad for a lackluster community that charges $2000 bucks for a 2-bedroom. If anything, I would say that the management is TOO professional - they take their rules much too seriously when it is in their interest. That's very short-sighted in my opinion. The assistant manager is very curt, she needs to lighten up and realize she's in a business that serves the public. On the other hand, the younger girl that works there and the older lady with the accent are very nice and seem like they care.
If you need a great location and aren't looking for anyone to do you any favors, this could still be a decent place. If they try to raise the rent when my lease is up I would probably bolt, otherwise I will hang out as long as they continue to fix the place up. It is rather old and you know they must be making a fortune off of the high rents since it was built.
