I have been living at La Vina some time now, and I love it. Its an amazing place. There is a lot of noise from kids runny around out side. The locks on the door are not that good, but I feel likes its in a nice enough neighborhood.

There is a girl working in the front office who acts like she is hott stuff because she gets to process peoples stuff. She is the most annoying person to deal with, so I only go see her when I have too, other than that I pray nothing goes wrong in my apt so I don't have to see her.

That's too bad you feel that way....I like Merlene. She has been nothing but helpful and nice to me. I am glad management finally has someone here full time to answer the phone when my husband or I call. Before she came along we had to leave a message and wait a few hours, even an entire day once, before the call was returned. I have no complaints about Merlene or Marvin...they are great people to have run this place and I trust them in my apartment alone if need be. Can't argue about the noise from the kids though...it can get pretty annoying, but it's not as bad when they are in school. The rent has been raised a few times, that's why I am on line looking around right now. Seems as though it's about the same price as the one's down the street and they don't even have washer's. You should look at some of their reviews....scary! I'll keep looking to see if I can find something cheaper...but in no hurry to move...I like it here.

I also like Marlene and Marvin. I'm from Korea and even though my English's not good, they are really kind and helped me a lot without any complaints. I recommend La Vina to anyone looking for an apartment in Livermore.
