I have read a lot of reviews on this place as well as many other apartments I have wanted to live in throughout my life, but I have yet to write one.
This place isn't terrible but a few things I wish I would have known before moving in:
1) If you have more than one car, sell the 2nd one. No additional parking what so ever. If you have friends who have cars... they have to park at the bowling alley or down the street somewhere with a little bit of a hike to the apartment. This was my biggest problem, after a long day at the office, I had to park outside of my complex and run across a busy street to get home.
2) Choose your apartment wisely, the location I lived was along Railroad Ave. and it was noisey 24/7 complete with a bunch of drunk people over at the bowling alley. Not against people having a good time, but wish my apartment was in a quiet area. My mistake.
3) Some residents have like 30 people living in one apartment who are active at all hours of the day/night. These apartments have NO soundproofing what so ever. You'll see for your self on your walk through.
4) Oh yeah, I LOVE hearing from my girlfriend that some drunk guy was sitting on her car while she was walking out to go to work one day. Especially in the "well" lit, shaddy looking parking lot that is Mill Springs. That's safe. (this was on 17 Apr 09).
The management is a little difficult, It's a 50/50 shot on what mood you will catch them in. I have had problems with them, but on the same note, they have also been johnny on the spot with repairs to the apartment.
Long story short, I have lived here for a while and would not recommend this place to any of my friends and I will not renew my lease.
