The manager was a welder for many years and proud of it. That all alone tells you what type of person you are dealing with. Kathleen, the manager is rude and is always giving a bad treatment to her staff, specially maintenance, yelling over the radio all the time. At this property there is no privacy, since the manager has the bad habit of spiying the residents when we leave our blinds open, specially very early in the morning and evenings, when she walks her dog. This is ridiculous.

On the other hand the two other office staff memebers, Desire and Sabrina are rude and un profesional. I wish the owner will come on the weekends as a sorprise visit to see the type of cloths they wear, pants, etc... And to see how instead of doing their work they do their laundry at the office, during office hours.

The poor maintenance team are always outside making sure the property is well kept and they really do a great job. They are very polite and courteouse. The office staff should learn from them on how to treat the residents with courtesy. I feel sorry for them, for the bad treatments that they receive every day from the manager, this should be against the law.

From the outside the property looks very nice, but once you are in, you will findout the reality. Specially for students, stay away! It is to noisy and you can find better properties in the area.

Hello, My Name is Kathleen the current Manager and the one this resident has a lot to say about, and I am truly sorry you feel you were treated so wrong :( and too think it was nessesary to mention I was a welder, well this we know too be true, of all the other things said here, I can only say you really never voiced your opinion, too how you felt the whole time you were living here, there are many things said here I would consider slanderous but because I am the manager I will allow you to voice your opinion, do to the fact we live in a country where freedom of speech, is like being proven innocent, before you are guilty ~ I am very sorry you feel the need to make everyone here who work so very hard at making Monterey Pines a fine place to reside ~ and ~ if you really felt as bad as you make everyone here sound, I really wished we would have known these things, and had a chance too improve, because constructive critisism, is always a way of improving things that the consumer would like us too hear to make Monterey Pine a nicer place to live! what ever it is that we did to make you, say all that you have said here, and if it was so bad as you make it sound,we wished you would have given us the chance to have known how you felt, throughout your residency ~ I have been the manager since 2006 and it doesn`t make any since why you feel you have too say such mean things,about all of the staff, being the management isn`t always an easy job ~ and our main goal is to make your homes and your community safe and quite, which you also mentioned that it is not ~ and anyone who has lived here, knows that is one of the main reasons why they have chosen to make this there home ~ and coming from someone who use to or is currently a member of the Monterey Pines family and has made this their home for so long, you would not have stayed here had it not been a great place to live.

This reveiw is very accurate. I am glad somebody had the courage of expresing themselves! As somebody ealse expresed in the past, just enjoy your apartment and do not deal with the office staff. This is a very serious issue that this property has. The office staff is very rude and careless towards the residents needs. Stay away!!!

Me and my husband are residents at Monterey Pines and the office staff has been nothing but courtious to us always asking us if everything is okay in our apartment and are very apologetic if maintenance has not completed a service request,I don't know what bad experience this person has had with the office staff but it sounds more like a personal problem. Customer service is not easy and when you work with alot of different people you have to deal with some that are rude and want everything to go there way or else all they have to say is bad comments. Overall i love living at Monterey Pines and have not had any problems as long as you pay your rent on time and don't cause any problems the office staff will not bother you. I think the girls in the office need to watch out for this person who is watching them 24/7. Anonymous!
