I have lived here for awhile now (dec'o7) and overall I'm pretty satisfied. I live in a two bedroom premium oceanfront apartment on the 4th floor (which is actually 8 stories up) and the biggest problem is the summer heat. Holy crap it's like I sauna in this place by 8 in the morning! Even with "air conditioning" the apartment gets very hot in the spring, summer, and fall. The staff is ok, the doormen and maintenaince men are fantastic! I've never had a problem while living here, and the 2 bedroom units have 2 underground parking spaces. If you're considering living here, make sure to get an apartment with as many parking spaces as you need, because you will not find parking within many blocks. Also, for being an oceanfront highrise, the views are obstructed by oil wells, ships, and the port of Long Beach. Overall this place is wonderful to live in if you're willing to pay the price, it is very pricey for what you get. 3,250 a month right now...... yeah. The noise thing is no problem on the ocean side.
