Think twice before leasing an apartment at Bixby Gardens. - I'm currently a tenant at Bixby Gardens and feel it's my obligation to warn people to think twice before leasing an apartment here. The management team is extremely unfriendly and it is virtually impossible to get them to respond to questions, maintenance request or anything else that may require them to do their job. I actually really hate having to ask them to come into my apartment ...Full review of Bixby Garden Apartments

Section 8, Studios, Little Parking - I NO longer live here. Air Pollution from the port of Long Beach is a problem. Has less than a third of needed parking (outdoors, no cover). Mostly Studios. All section 8 senior housing. Two old elevators, much of the time, one elevator is NOT working. Sometimes neither elevator is working. Eleventh Floor is Commons and best feature of the building. Force air system has two ...Full review of Plymouth West

What a Nightmare!! - This place sucks!!! The manager is the most dumbest person on this earth. He can not even screw in a light bulb. He can not fix anything and when he hires a maint. man he can't fix it either. Also the place is the size of a shoe box. Everyone shares a hot water tank. Showering is always suprise. Hot/Cold!!! The problem says the manager "its an old building" the "office" ...Full review of 815 Bennett Avenue

Great View, Nasty Staff - I've had too many run ins with the Maintenance Staff at this place. They are for the most part very rude (they dont care if you are a resident of the building). I accidently entered the garage through the exit, and I was told repeatedly to "get the hell out of here" by the Maintenance Supervisor (with his oh so high ranking). I could understand if I didnt live here, but he ...Full review of International Tower

Apartment OK, but watch for roaches! - There are a ton of roaches in this 1920's(?) building. The building is nice from the outside, the lobby needs to be updated. The apartments are a decent size and utilities are included with rent. There's one HUGE problem. Roaches! Every tenant i've talked to has roach problem. When i first moved in, I had huge roaches. I bought roach bait, now i see babies ...Full review of The Regent

Never again - I had to write a review because no one else has yet. I've lived here about a year now and i am moving out once my lease it finally up. This place is way too expensive and has the rudest most incompetent staff i have ever come across. Check out the Beverly Plaza Apartment reviews. It is the same management and is just across the street. It is like living in a dorm. there are loud parties every ...Full review of Park Avenue Apartments

DRACONIAN RULES - This place is not family-friendly even though they tell you it is. If you have children, stay away. The managers have made it almost impossible for families to live there. For example, one rule dictates that "all persons under 14 years of age need to be supervised by an adult resident at all times." The managers are unapproachable and unprofessional.
