A disappointment, to say the least. We started with a very friendly leasing agent. She really did her best to make things go smoothly. Unfortunately, that's where it ended. She was no longer working there the next time I tried to contact her. Seems there is a constant turnover of staff. In the past year, there have been about 10 different people working in the leasing office.
If you decide to live at Camden, make sure you do not get a unit on the Pike. Unless you are deaf, the noise at night, especially on the weekends, will drive you crazy. It is impossible to have a phone conversation some evenings if your doors or windows are open.
Then there is the whole parking issue. On weekends, the garage is full of non residents looking for a free place to park while partying downtown. Often, when returning to their cars, they will help themselves to whatever is in yours. We are supposed to have security, but I have never seen them. In talking to other residents, they share the same experience.
The office staff is nonresponsive and totally inept. It often takes several days to get a returned call and then they have an attitude. Camden could be a great place to live if they ever are able to get a decent management staff in here.

I feel ya, and double everything you said. Especially don't take any units directly across from the parking garage! Hey, I even applied for the receptionist position in the office-but they hired some ninny who only stuck around for about a week and a half! They just didn't want to give a discount on my rent (its 20% off your rent per month!), because I'm highly over qualified to sit at their desk and ignore people! Oy.. Almost all their staff is gone from almost 14 months ago, just lots and lots more -------- and cleaning crew who do absolutely nothing. And I don't know why we even have security.. so they can walk around with their clipboards and pencils doing nothing but playing games on their cell phones!
