Wow. It seems like ApartmentRatings.com is a place where people can vent their frustrations to everyone online. I for one had a good experience with Camden Harbor View. Yes, it's true there are noise issues, but you're in the middle of downtown Long Beach. If you're looking to avoid noise, then you should avoid LA county all together! The rent is also high, but it's set by supply/demand. If there weren't people out there willing to pay $2,000-$3000/month for rent, they wouldn't charge that amount! If you want cheap rent, move out of LA county. The staff is very courteous. The complex is HUGE and kept clean. The amenities are great and the location couldn't be better. I am moving out strictly because I'm too poor to live here. I definitely recommend Camden Harbor View if you can afford the high price tag.

Wow, you're full of so much fluff! You must not get wiff of homeless and drunks, and RESIDENTS pissing and shitting ON THE PROPERTY right on the steps! Man, I wake up at 5-6am daily only to see and smell (if i have window or doors open) it all daily.
The staff is not friendly, unless you're a potential renter. I have had to wait over 15-20 minutes, along with other current renters, while waiting to get my packages, file forms to get stuff fixed, or just to turn in my rent or ask a question.. While the staff just push me and others further and further down the line as new people come in.
Demand is NOT high for these apartments. I couldn't even give my apartment away for a lease takeover after trying for 8 months--even with free rent for them for 3 months! People are starting to wisen up about rent, and more want rent control in downtown LB. And with the new condos next door, yep-why bother paying that much per month when they can OWN next door for same amount!

obviously you don't know what you're talking about.

Employees aren't supposed to post here! I will say this. Regarding the demand response, so true, demand is dropping. I look for Camden to be Section 8 in the near future. But they'll sponge their tennants for all they can in the mean time.
