NOT worth the $ once you have to renew

I wrote the "Still love living here, if only the rent didn't keep rising..." review in June '06. I foun the responses to my post very funny - seems people assume positive comments = Camden employees. Long story short, 2 months after writing that review, our lease expired and they wanted to raise the rent from 2000 to 2500 a month! We found a nice apartment in HB, gave up the inside laundry and the A/C for a decent, fair landlord (not what I could say abt the Camden staff) and a MUCH lower rate - and now we're looking to buy a house. In summary, I loved Camden, but I didn't feel it was worth the money. The weekend my husband and I moved out, there were 4 other apartments being vacated. Unfortunately the market demand let's them hike the prices. Our advice: If you really want to live there, take advantage of the move-in specials and enjoy your first lease. Then look elsewhere and save for a down payment!

Sure. You probably work there or another Camden property.

So this must be what the office staff does that they are too busy to answer the phones. There is no way you are a real resident at Camden, at least not the one in Long Beach. What BS! It's ok, we understand you do what your boss tells you to do. Keep that resume up to date though. The staff lasts 6 months here at best.

Yeah, you're probably someone from the office staff since you don't know what you're talking about.
