Free Parking'''

So yesterday evening, my fiance and I come in from dinner out. As we pull into the garage, a young girl comes flying up behind us, almost ramming the back of my car, in an attempt to get into the garage behind us. She succeeds, only then to walk up to us after we are all parked to ask what is the fastest way out to get to Pine Street and how is she supposed to get her car out after she is finished partying. I told her this garage is only for residents of Camden to which I got an indignant "So'" as if she were entitled to free parking at our expense. She went on to explain that all her friends park here whenever they come to Pine Street or the Pike. After all, why should they pay to park in a public garage when there is one right here that is free'
This is an almost daily event. We occasonally see some sort of lame memo from the management folks about proper parking decals and towing, but no one I have spoken with here has ever seen it happen. On top of that, ther garage is always dirty and littered with fast food bags, beer cans and cases, along with whatever else was in someone's car that they too lazy to put in the one trash can down there. The plants by the exit doors are being destroyed by the free parkers who break them apart to use them to keep the doors from locking behind them so they can retrieve their cars later. Where is the security we were told about when we signed our lease' If Camden would place a security guard at the entrance to the garage even just on Fri and Sat nights, a lot of this BS would stop.
The bottom line is this: Why are we paying almost $2500 a month in rent, which includes parking, only to have the rest of the world use our garage for free'

Parking is the one and only good thing we can say about Camden. Even though I'm no longer a tennant there, I still enjoy parking there on occasion.
There's no need to bust plants up to block the door so you can get back in. Most of the first floor doors require no fob; one swift jerk and you're in, then take the elevator to the garage.
If you don't like us parking there, I'm so sorry! She was right; why should we pay for the garage across the street, when Camden is free, and staff is too lame to do anything about it. Don't like it? You should do what I did. MOVE!
