My husband and I moved into the Camden during April of 06 and cannot wait to get out. We would love to terminate our lease early but, there's $5000.00 buyout fee!
Our biggest complaint is the cleanliness of the building. We have watched our clean building get dirtier and dingier each month. Presently there is no cleaning staff to speak of. The entry way to the elevators in the garage is always filthy and filled with people's trash. The halls in the building haven't been cleaned in weeks--the floors are littered with debris and the walls have scuffs and black marks all over.
My bicycle was stolen out of the "secure" garage. Parking is a hassle as there are no assigned spots.
The gym (if you could call it that) is consistently dirty and the machines rarely work--if they do work they make so much noise because they haven't been serviced.
The noise from all of the construction is constant.
Unless you are springing for the 3 bedroom $3000.00 a month apartment all of the apartments are quite small.
Bottome line you do not get what you pay for at the Camden.
If anyone has any ideas on how to end our lease early please advise!
