I understand why some people - well lets not lie, all of the people on here complain about teh camdens. But for me - I loved living here. I loved that I was so close to the pike, to downtown, to the Transit Mall and all the great restaurants in belmont were only a 90 cent bus ride away.

I liked the square footage of my apartment, the fact that we had all of the amenities like a stove, oven, refrigerator, washer and dryer - i'd be lucky to find that.

The electric bill for our 3 bedroom unit when we didn't use AC or heat is at most 460/month - the highest it went was $220 when we pumped the AC at night during teh summer.

grantite the weekends are noisy as my apartment faces teh Parking Structure and the sounds of the pike - but I knew that moving in ahead of time.

I would highly recommend this complex to anyone. I have actually recommended it to friends and have reaped the benefit - they move in, mention my name and I got $500 off a month of rent. Not many places that i've seen will do that for you.

I would continue to live here at the camden's if I could but unfortunately I can't cause I have to move back to Ny - but if I ever move back to Long beach, i'd be back here in a heartbeat! SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV

Ok, after going thru teh move out and witnessing another group of friends of mine going thru the move out i changed my tune COMPLETELY! i haven't checked this site in awhile and did so recently to see if its gotten any better, apparently it hasn't. My keys dropped down the elevator shaft and i was told i could pay Otis $300 to come get tehm or they would just get them on the next elevator service next month. Not only did they never recover my keys, when i aksed they were all "its not my problem" Again the location for me was great i could walk everywhere and anywhere, but after dealing with that ridiculous excuse of a staff, never again in my life would i .
