Forget getting any part of your deposit back. We cleaned for days, just to have a smiling face say "we're so sorry, but...". We knew who was late paying rent; the staff would hang late notices on their doors, for everyone else to see (absolutely no privacy or respect). Security my ass - just give a swift jerk on over half the security doors in the complex, and you can walk right in like you own the place. Lots of solicitors know this; they do just that, and pound on your door. If you choose to do this, then walk around the hallways, particularly the elevator lobbys, and notice how long it's been since they've had any kind of cleaning. Then go to the garage and note the same. Like noise' Then any of the apartments on Seaside are for you. You'll get your fill of auto burglar alarms and frustrated drivers in the parking garage across the street, honking horns all night long, almost every night. In the garage, notice those readers you hold key fobs to' Often they're broke. Sometimes they're broke to where the up/down buttons are disabled (we're so sorry... :) ), and sometimes they're broke to where the buttons are always enabled (security, oh really). I'll second the earlier complaint on the grill. When I was moving in, "no problem". Afterwards, once again, with a smiling face, "we so sorry, but...").

With the new high-rises going up to the north and south, I expect Camden Harbor View to be a ghetto in the near future, given the poor maintenance, miserable staff with high turnover, and the not so good construction. I'm convinced the buildings were slapped up in a hurry, to capitalize on collecting rent.

My husband and I lived in Camden and I can attest that you are so very right. I don't know why the Camden people who hire these office people don't realize by now that it's not so much the place as the staff. The place is seriously FILTHY and they do NOTHING. They are not nice to renters and just put in their time. Security is a joke and the mechanics of the key fob system are terribly faulty. I fear for the safety of the residents. JW
