These apartments are expensive, poorly made, and their management takes every possible opportunity to rip you off. In this case, you are definitely not getting what you pay for. Granted, you do get a laundry room and parking, but you only get 2 spaces (if you have a 2-bedroom apt). If you want another space you have to pay $75 more a month. Also, even if you do have a parking pass your car still isn't safe from being towed. I lived there for 3 yrs. and in April, the idiots towed my car because I had a parking permit that they issued to me 3 yrs. ago. Apparently, since then they have changed their parking permit design but did not issue me a new one so they towed my car!! I think that their favorite staement is, "you can pay up front and then, if we are in error, we will reimberse you." IF they are in error' They are ALWAYS in error, except they make you jump through hoops to prove it! I recently moved out & I couldn't wait till the day our lease was up. Then, I got a letter from them several weeks later, which I thought was our deposit check. Boy was I wrong!! They are not only keeping my desposit, but they are CHARGING me $150 more because they claim to have "never received our parking permits." The same permits that they TOWED MY CAR OVER! That is only one story among many of how imcompetent these people are. Sadly, this isn't even the only time that we have been charged for something that was because of their mistakes. They lost our rent checks, the returned our check and randomly told us that we had to pay with a money order (even though we had been paying with checks all along) AND charged us a late fee, tried to charge us a late another time because they got the date wrong, and now they are also trying to charge us for our last 2 months of utilities when it should only be one. Tryng to resolve these issues is almost impossible because they rarely answer their phone during office hours and when you go into the office, it's at least a 15-20 min. wait before someone helps you. I live in a MUCH nicer complex now, still in Long Beach and in a nicer area, with a better management staff, and for a much more affordable price. You're paying $2000 a month at Camden for crappy management, to be over-charged, have your apartment falling apart, to live across the street from Long Beach's homeless community, and the "secured access" to the parking garage & elevators are broken half of the time so anyone can use them! PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
