I agree with almost all of the reviews below. I have had nothing but troubles with the office staff. The management is ok, they are more helpful than the office staff and will listen to most of what you have to say and so far attempt to take care of any issues you may have. However you shouldn't have to go to these people to get small things taken care of.

I have had a few problems with packages (for some reason they just can't get this right). One time they sent back a whole bunch of packages even though I had called the office and confirmed it was ok to have them delivered. The lady was SO rude to me on the phone and sarcastic, really poor customer service. This same lady has been just as rude when I'm in the office or calling. I think a customer service refresher class is in order for some of this office staff.

Also, work orders are almost impossible to get done in a timely manner, I have had to call repeatedly to get things accomplished. Sometimes, they don't even get accomplished.

The location is unbeatable, you are walking distance to just about anything you could want to be. This is the main reason I have stayed at this location. As well I feel the community is kept pretty clean and manicured.

The gym (if you can call it that) sucks. The machines are old and breaking. The TV's are even older than the machines and awkwardly placed...it is definetly time to upgrade to some flat screens and/or machines with TVs on them. A few more cardio machines might be nice.

The clubhouse and pools are probably the best things about the community! Pool table, movie room and kitchen. It could use free WiFi in here, in the "business center," or at the pool.

I always see security out and about which is definetly nice. The parking garage gates however are often stuck open for long periods at a time (often 3-4 days). The parking is very well lit and I have never heard about any car break-ins (that doesn't mean they don't happen). I only know of one incident where someone attempted to break into an apartment...but what do you expect...you live in Long Beach.

The noise level isn't too bad. Dogs barking is the biggest issue. I rarely hear partying or tv's. For some reason I have bad luck when it comes to upstairs neighbors who walk like they are elephants...but what can you do.

BIGGEST BEAF: The way the utility bills are divided is RIDICULOUS!!!! I am paying over $50 a month for gas! And we have electric stoves and dryers...so the only thing that uses gas is the heater and water. Absolutely ridiculous. I really feel they are lumping in the common areas to the residents bills. There is NO reason that in the middle to end of summer our gas bills are $55 .

Other than those complaints it is a decent community. If the Camden would address some of these issues and make a few upgrades I am sure it COULD be a GREAT community! I hope this is helpful to prospective residents and to Camden.
