I have lived at Harbor View for about 9 months now. Life is finally relaxed. Out of the different places I have lived, never has there been such a great atmosphere. Don t get me wrong... There's your occasional noise at night. But, these people seem to straighten up quickly. I love living on top of the floor overlooking the courtyard. My friends have never complained of parking issues (unlike everywhere else I have ever lived) parking was a serious deciding factor that I have come to seriously appreciate. No more walking from a $40 a month carport that s on the other side of the complex for me like my last place! I don t quite understand the negativity on this site. I have had every little problem in my apartment address and corrected in a timely fashion. I don t know, maybe it s because I actually communicate my needs' Personally, I couldn t move to another apartment after living here; I d have to go to a house. I d recommend this place and I hope this review is actually useful to someone looking for an above average place to live.

I guess that settles it, 80% of the people who don't recommend this place have had negative experiences because they don't know how to "communicate their needs." Here are some examples of how incompetent the staff is: 1. I went on vacation for a month in December and wrote two checks. One for December and one for January. I told the staff not to cash in the January check until January because I would not have enough funds to cover rent since my direct deposit doesn't hit until the end of the month. They went ahead and cashed in both checks, causing me to overdraw and pay overdraft fees. 2) I was out of town for work and my returning flight got canceled. Since I wouldn't be returning until the next day I called Camden and asked the staff to give my friend the keys so he could feed my cats. I filled out their authorization form and emailed it to them. When my friend arrived they said they didn't know what he was talking about because according to them, they hadn't spoken to me regarding this issue, nor have they received my authorization form. 3)Two weeks ago I went to pick up a package from Barbara at the leasing office. When I arrived she was typing on her computer and didn't even bother to look up and acknowledge me. After standing there for 10 seconds I told her I was there to pick up a package, in which she then put up her finger to silence me and told me to hold on without even looking at me. I stood there and waited for about two minutes before she even assisted me.
