I'm scrolling through reading all the goods & bads previous & present tenants (some obvisously not even tenants)have to say about Claire Del. One of the issues mentioned was a "nice area." First off you want a nice area, look for an apartment out in Orange County or Bixby Knolls. Come on now' This is Long Beach. Clair Del is a "nice area" for what the environment is. 4701 & 4901 Clair Del (appearance-wise) are well kept apartments. Compared to the others on the same street.. you can use your judgment as to what types of tenants are kept (yes stereotypical but speaking through having lived in Clair Del for 1 year). No matter where you go if somebody wants what you have (per say your automobile) they're going to take it reguardless how well-secured or gated. What kind of community does not have a neighborhood watch' Yes, there was a neighborhood watch meeting held.. but every little bit of people who care & have ideas helps right' Linda Glancy... do not know her as a person, but as a Landlord overall takes care of busness. Previous responses about her being a witch or nosy... hello' When you move in any Landlord who cares about their apartment has the right to be nosy, for the apartment & reputation reflects on them. Maintenance is well kept. If ever a problem, once notified about the situation it is tended to. Might I add the maintenance crew is always nice & polite especially Francisco & (sorry forgot the other guys name who had the pony-tail). In response to someones comment on catching managment & maintenance smoking marijuana... get real. Obviously some good stuff you were smoking to have even stated that. Being the laundry room is so compact does make it complicated to get laundry done especially after a hard day at work. Parking also needs to be improved especially for guests & family. Everynow & then there are tenants who come & go (who I've seen)do get obnoxious like jumping in the pool at 2 in the morning, or playing their music loud with the the windows open on a week night. Some even with no shame as to leave their blinds wide open exposing the mess they live in. What to do but notify & complain to the person in charge right' As I've stated I do not know Linda, nor have experience running an apartment but its understood being a Landlord has its responsibilities.
