Elegant historical landmark; good location.

An elegant place to live for a reasonable price. Walking distance to the beach and numerous shops, restaurants, theaters (including Symphony Hall). Lobby is beautifully furnished and comfortable. There is a 12th floor solarium with pool table for residents' use. There is a garden. There is a coffee house and a delicatessen serving good food.
On the negative side: no parking -- have to park on street or pay up to $50.00/month for a garage space. There is a lot of construction in the area. Rents are currently reasonable but there is no rent control in Long Beach: be careful!
