You pay way too much for what you get at these apartments. These apartments are way too small and awkward. It was a pain getting all the furniture moved in. Management tries to bring in people with their equity program where 20% of your rent goes towards equity but they never tell you that there's only one homebuilder and the closest homes they build are out in the boonies. Parking is bad since the spaces are small. Laundry is a mess due to the fact that the facilities are so far away from the apartments. These apartment buildings have also been under renovation since we got here. It took them about 9 months to paint the place. Gate was even broken for about 5 months. Police cars can be seen here on a regular basis now. Solicitors constantly bug you to buy candy or magazines. Overall, you pay too much for a bunch of false promises and a false sense of security. The renovation also just made the place look uglier. Only plus was that management was nice and responded to problems immediately.

We lived in both the 3500 block and 3700 block of the Hathaway. Only old apartment buildings are bigger but old ones don't usually have security patrol or outside storage. Most old properties don't bother w/renovation and at least the gate gets fixed so consider yourself lucky. Hathaway is considered new. Police cars have always been in the area because they have a police station down the street. Long Beach has a really good police dept.. Most of the solicitors are kids of tenants. Don't answer the door.

drug dealer there, cause of the gate problems. drug user there also. management takes bride, also. higher authority take all the money.
