My boyfriend and I have been living here for 6 months and we have barely run in to any problems. The first month or so our fire alarm was so sensitive that it would go off at EVERYTHING...even cooking in the SUPER CLEAN and BRAND NEW oven. The day we requested it to be fixed, a maintenance guy was upstairs correcting it. While he was there we noticed the kitchen light needed to be fixed also and he did it right there on the spot, no questions asked. We have only ever had one person park in our parking space, but we didn't have any trouble finding guest parking just a few spots away. We put a note on the guy's car and haven't had anyone park there since.
In response to the the complaints about bugs and incompetant staff, they are completely rediculous...you live in an apartment! It isn't a 5 star hotel meant to cater to your every whim!! The staff is there to facilitate you living there, but they aren't your personal entourage to fix your every problem. In our experience, the staff has helped us just about as much as any other apartment staff has in the 3 other complexes we've lived in. And, shocking I know...bugs exist! And they get into things! Get over it!
Our experience here has been pretty good. Yes, the rent is a bit high but you get a lovely place to live with brand new appliances, quiet neighbors, good location, gated and safe, and with clean and good quality laundry rooms. If you are expecting to be treated like a celebrity without ANY inconveniences, then you are not living in the real world. Don't expect to be catered to completely here or to have everything go your way all the time, but certainly don't blame it on a perfectly good apartment complex.
