I was a graduate student at CSULB. I lived in one of the studios on ground floor near the pool for about a year. The a/c is too noise, the whole apartment shakes when you turn it on it also broke down many times; water problems from second floor neighbor (was flooded three times). Too much noise from the pool kids and loud neighbors; bums walking around at night looking in windows, your car will get starched in the parking lot, trashy neighbors; fighting all the time, cops come out quite often there you will see. This is not a place for a serious student or for a single girl. Just pay a little extra and move somewhere else.
