I thought I had lived under a slumlord's rule before, but never knew the meaning of the word slumlord before moving into this dump.Everything is made to look perfect when you move in / when there are empty apts. but once in you'll find things go downhill. Don't expect to ever have anything fixed.swimming anyone' they will lie to you when you move in,telling you it is heated year round when actually it is heated 2-3 mo. Don't expect to have a happy pool get together - the owner Mr. gerald livone of corona del mar, ca. took it away from us for a private office he does not use. Want to have a b-b-que' hopefully you can alter your plans 5 weeks or so; that's the time between propane refills.
The new management is just as dishonest and evil as the last - just when you thought no one could be worse than the ones who went before.In resident there is a young Mormon couple who are very religious excewpt when dealing with tenants when they are slanderous liars.Their "ruler" is a woman named Retha Roberts from corona del mar who claims she's" on the way to the main office", -" has to speak with headquarters first,"etc. In actuality she operates from a tiny room on PCH.1.
She can not look anyone in the eye,avoids all truth and even sense, has a hairdo akin to"The Donald" (Trump) with a sickening sweet voice that would chill any truth seeking person to the very center of their being.
oh, and did I forget to mention the constant inconsistent rent raises' While your oven doesnt work,your rug is 10-15 yrs old, the trash shutes are overflowing and the stench is nuseating, you will be greeted at your door by a rent raise. When you speak to your neighbors you'll find some were raised 100.00, some 50.00, a few 25.00. The system seems to be: the longer they've been here the higher the raise - move em out move em out so you can turn the place over for profit.
Why just a month ago the new manager put out a couple who had lived in their apt for many many yrs.The wife had a stroke that left her severely mentally and physically handicapped,while the husband had retired because she needed constant care-
well, even though there were many vacate apts and the manager already occupied one, he fancied their apt and used the "owner/management or relatives needs to move in law" and put them out.So our new managers will be spending this weekend,their first blessed Easter in Pallas Athena in an apt they seized from a couple who called it home.
Warning: unless you are very adapt at visualization, mediatation, astral projection, have a great lawyer or are into fighting evil- please,please run and find another place to live. If you blindfold yourself,point and live where ever your finger points I'm sure you'll be happier.
