I moved here in June 2002 because of the low price ($560 for a studio). I was very happy the first year, then everything started falling apart. My refrigerator stopped keeping food cold (it was quickly replaced). But the worst part, were the ants. I had the worst infestation last winter. I had to take everything out of my lower kitchen cabinets, because of the huge number of ants I was constantly finding in a large swarm. I also had ants in my bathroom in the bathtub area. Spraying to kill them didn't work, I actually went and found the hole that they were coming in from and I caulked it. Problem solved. I also had a roach problem in my kitchen. Yuck.

The cable here is provided by Adelphia and its awful. There are only 30 channels, supposedly because Adelphia needs to 'replace the lines'. Adelphia went bankrupt, so I doubt that it'll be happened soon.

I also had a huge problem with my toilet runnning and running. It actually even leaked quite a bit and was finally fixed my management.

Is this apartment complex a 'nice' place to live' No, its adequate if you're on a low budget. The leasing office is nice but, like someone else mentioned, they are very young kids except for the head guy.

Recently, they've gone up in price. My studio which started out at $560 a month, went up to $575 a month, then to $595. They are advertising unoccupied studios at $675 a month!

I am happy to have secured underground parking. This neighborhood isn't as bad a Compton, but it is pretty bad.
