PGA is a good short term place to live. I would not recommend any long term stays. I have to say that its not as ghetto as i thought it would be. this place does have its problems though:
elevators: not all of them work (moving was a nightmare)
WATER: the water comes out yellowish brown quite frequently!! LOOKS LIKE PEE!
ROACHES!!!: ARE A BIG PROBLEM!! i know that its a part of living in long beach but its just too much!! i do my best to keep them away (i bought containers for food and dishes, and i never leave dishes out overnight) but they just keep coming! i mean.. come on.. there are even some in the bathroom!! GAG!!
laundry: not all of them work and you have to carry your laundry up and down the stairs because laundry room is underground)
people: overall people are nice and keep to themselves but there is the occasional smell of weed and cigarretes that blow into the apartment. very hard to avoid!
overall an ok place to live but the roaches and the water are deal breakers!! i just cant deal with them!
