I lived in this place for 2 months. Let me repeat myself, 2 months, I moved out as fast as I could.

I rented a 2 bedroom apartment for $1550 per month. Very spacious, and I liked the fact the bedrooms were large, but that is the ONLY really good thing. It has alot of good sq.ft. for the price.

But this is NOT the place you want to live with your CHILDREN!

1. In the back of the apartment, where I was located, when i walked to exit to the driveway to get to my car, you can see over the fence the TRAILER TRASH GHETTO PARK. It is amazing how those people live in the trailer homes, they are way below poverty. Look across the wall and fence and it is REALLY like you are looking at people living in a 3rd world country.

2. When i moved in, I filled out the checklist of things wrong with the apartment, and found 23 things wrong and I MEAN i looked very closely at every crack and corner, kitchen and bathrooms. I was NOT being picky, these were real problems with things broke, because i was not going to be responsible for broken things in the apartment that were pre-existing conditions. It was so bad when i locked the front door, i would think the door is locked, and it was not. The door locks were not lining up with the slots, so the whole time anyone could just push the door open. I requested to have this fixed on the first day, and i ended up having to get the maintenance people come 2 more times to fix it right. All 14 cabinets in the kitchen would not close right in the slots, all cabinets were open slightly because they would not open. The STUPID and INCOMPETANT maintenance people decided to replace all 28 metal hinges on all doors and when they were done, guess what, the cabinet doors still would not close in the slots properly. They needed to sand the slots down so they could all fit and close perfectly. Never completed right. The dishwasher did not work and had to be replaced. The fans in both bathrooms made loud noise and had to be fixed. One bathroom the shower would not turn off at all when we turned it on. The toilet would not flush at all. In all, I had the maintenance people come out 5 times total in 2 months because they kept leaving without fixing the problems. They would turn in work orders as completed, and i would have to finally yell at the apartment manager to pull her head out of her A**! WHEN THIS WAS ALL SAID AND DONE, AND BECAUSE OF MY REFUSAL TO ALLOW THEM TO BE SATISFIED WITH NOT FIXING THE APARTMENT, OR DOING A HALF-A**ED JOB, I ACTUALLY LEFT THE APARTMENT 2 MONTHS LATER THAT WAS 300% BETTER THAN THE CONDITION I MOVED IN. but the Manager does deserve credit for fixing the problems, it just took the maintenance 5-6 try's and 2 months to fix things that should have taken 2 days or less

3. Every weekend the trash rooms are overflowing and left like that for the entire weekend. It was so bad people threw garbage in the floors and hallways because it was overflowing, making the hallways smell like crap. VERY DISGUSTING!

4. The first month we were there someone was shot and killed across the street.

5. The apartment is right across the street from Jordan High School.

6. If you do research online for CONVICTED CHILD MOLESTORS AND RAPISTS, and search the locations, you will see there are SEVERAL living in this apartment community.

7. PARKING = Forget it, there is no parking. There are way too many residents in the apartment complex for what little parking is available. After 7pm, you will never find a parking spot.

8. Grounds and Landscaping - Their is NO grass, all dirt, very little trees, trees and shrubs are dying, the grounds are never being watered.

9. Basketball Court - The basketball backboards are broken, the nets were torn and hanging, and there was major 2 inch cracks on the floor that is a major safety hazard.

I would definately NOT recommend this GHETTO dump to anyone at all.

It's too bad this person obviously exaggerates. Take what they say with a grain of salt. I think he/she is upset about the cabinets not fitting perfectly. Because of their need for perfection and to justify his/her rapid departure, he/she has come up with every possible reason to post this libel. He/she should have been man enough to stand behind their libel, but they decided to post an exaggerated libelous review that isn't born out by the facts. Yes, there is a trainer park in the property, approximately 100 yards from the rear most building of the apartment complex. How does the reviewer know that every person in that trailer pack has an income below poverty? (State or federal? Do you know the difference?) Did the reviewer interview them get the income level of each person? Unlikely and an exaggeration. 2. The cabinets may not have closed. I don't have the same problem. Apartment management did replace the components and the person was still not happy. So, they complained and tried to get revenge. I'm glad they moved. 3. Which side did this person live on? I'm on the south side and I don't see trash in the hallways or floors. Another case of libelous exaggeration because they are unhappy. 4. Case number please? It's in the City of Long Beach they post the murders in crime stats. No murder within 3 miles of this location.. I don't know how they knew that. Are they in law enforcement? Another case of exaggeration. 5. Yes, it's close to Jordan High School, a nice park, shopping, grocery store, restaurants, etc.. amazing, the apartment complex is in the city. What's wrong with being across the street from a school? 6. If you did the online research, you'd those with sexual offenses can't live across the street from a school. This poster libelous exaggerated again. If they have knowledge of child molesters, the should have called the police to let them know of the violations. So, if any children are molested, Apartment Ratings can be contacted and the libelous poster should be held as an accomplice or at least be civilly sued for damages. 7. In the 4.5 years I have lived here, I have never once been without parking in the permitted garage. Logically, this person did not have a parking permit if they couldn't find parking. I have had to walk up the stairs from the bottom level of parking on occasion when I come home late at night from church events. 8. I'm looking out my window at a full set of grass across from my apartment. The apartment management has put up tape to protect the grass to let it grow, as they do each year. To the poster, there is this periodic thing called Winter. Plants don't grow as well during that season due to shorter periods of sunlight. 9. The backboards and nets are in place. And, I can't see the cracks in the basketball court mentioned by the poster. Obviously another exaggeration. I think the poster should man up and post his/her name. Why would you want to trust a person who exaggerates and is obviously irresponsible effect your judgment of a place. Come on, two months and gone because of some cabinets? What a princess!

you don't have to prove anything to me or anyone else.. this was your experiences and strangely enough this person is asking you to state your name while they are anonymous ... i lived here and really the only thing i can say is that this place is not a place you want to spend years at... this place is an in between place, a place you can go to for a little while then move one.
