I am going to give you the most honest and matter of fact review possible.

Update: Moved out of this apartment over a month ago. Did a walkthrough with management, where she said "everything looks great," but they only refunded half of my deposit. I am trying to get the other half back, and have so far recieved no respons.

This place is the worst place I've ever moved. I'm so happy I got the hell out of there. Maybe the people that like this place are just used to 'ghetto' living conditions.

NASTY ! BEWARE !

--------Pros.----------
-Apartments are very spacious.
-Apartments feature a lot of closet space.
--------Cons.----------
-Area is dangerous.
-No guest parking.
-Approximately 8 cars get stolen from this block every week.
-There is an access road in front of the apartment complex which must be used to enter and exit the facility. Unfortunately, this access road is also used by the ghetto people who triple park (and don't have the sense to move thier car when you honk) and the people dropping off their children. Plan an extra 10 minutes in the morning to account for this.
-Homeless people and crackheads in wheelchairs hang out in front of the apartment.
-Gates DO NOT keep any of the neighborhood crackheads, ghettos, and gang bangers out of the apartments. The gates are constantly broken, door locks removed, objects stuffed in locks. It's unsafe and dangerous.
-Hot tub was non-working for months.
-People dump thier trash in the hallway (I'm talking dirty daipers, not candy wrappers) even if the trash chute is functioning.
-One ghetto family keeps a litter box outside, which happens to be right by where everyone has to walk to get into their own apartment. The tv-box-turned-litter-box fell over, apparently, so now they leave their fly infested trash outside too. They let their 1 year old toddler run around in his diaper all the time with no supervision, in theh halls.
- Water comes out yellow/brown .
DISGUSTING people .
The office staff is friendly, and the maintenance is fast ; but unfortunately, the rest of this is unbearable.

This "honest" review is obviously exaggerated. You have to question anyone who happens to claim they are honest. One has to wonder why there is a sudden uptick in reviews on the complex. I'm suggesting it's one person creating multiple profiles. I'm a 4.5 year resident of this location. I am not affliated with the owners or management of the building. 1. Area is no more dangerous than any other place in North Long Beach. 2. There is no guest parking. 3. Check the City of Long Beach crime reports, you will see that no cars have been stolen from the front of this facility in the last year. It's online. 4. The road would be completely blocked if there was triple parking. In the morning, parents drop off their children for school and will stop to let them get out of the car. I have never been delayed 30-60 seconds before I can get around them or they move. It depends on how fast the kids get out of the car and walk around it. This usually happens between 7:45 and 8am in the morning. 5. I haven't seen these "ghetto" people, nor have I seen people in wheelchairs or ilicit drug users. If I did, I would call the police. Perhaps this reviewer should have also. 6. As above. 7. Jacuzzi is operational with people in it on a nightly basis. The complex does not appear to have a hottub. It does have a steam room which was working last time I used it. 8. I've not seen trash in the hallways nor in the common areas. I can't speak for the apartments. 9. I have not seen unattended children nor catboxes in the hallways. I have seen notifications from the apartment management not to keep dogs. 10. Plumbing work has been done over the years, on two occations there was some rust colored water. However, we were notified the week before that plumbing work was being done. 11. I am glad this opinionated exaggerator has moved out, obviously they looked down on their neighbors. Too bad for them, it's a nice place to live.

Great to know that the staff (usually the ones that create any positive reviews) usually live in the same slum lord facilities.

Responding to the previous anonymous responder of the original posting...I lived in the complex for about 6 years and the office staff was horrendous and so unfriendly to many of the female, older residents. Very few if any of the workers actually live in the complex unless it has changed since we left. I never had a problem with maintainence, Peter was awesome, but YES my water would come out rusty when i first would turn it on. My carpet was well over it's lifetime and the owner, Dan, refused to put in updated carpet even though it was tearing in areas. There were many times when the pool or jacuzzi were non working and it would go on for months before either were fixed. That area is not the safest nor is it the worse. There was a time when there were muggins at gun point taking place in the parking area and the complex was forced to hire some security. Yes, cars were broken in to and there were some thefts. The elevator on the south side worked when we moved in and after a few years the owner REFUSED to fix it anymore. The people, primarily the teens, from the trailers behind the complex do come and use the facilities alot especially in the summer. As with any place, when we lived there, there were the good tenants and bad. Older resedents were great but the girls in the office liked to rent to young "partying" type of people which really lowered the livability of the place. All i can say is that i am soooo happy to have left that place and honestly i only miss the pool and even that is barely since it was often overcrowded with ghetto people, unusable due to filth or not working.

this is in response to the first comment "anonymous". you sound like your from the mangement and probably are! Stop trying to make this place sound all grand when you know damn well it's not!!! this place is a dump! do not live here!!!

i lived there too. all the "lucury" amenities were broken most of the time. when they were not broken, neighborhood project dwellers would sneak in through unmaintained gates in order to use the pool, jacuzzi, etc. yes, the office staff was nice but for the price of rent there, it's not worth living in a thinly-veiled ghetto.
