I HAVE LIVED HERE SINCE NOV. 2007! AND ALL I CAN SAY IS ITS HELL ON EARTH! THE MANAGEMENT SUCKS, IVE ASKED THEM TO FIX THINGS THAT ARE SAFTY ISSUES AND THEY HAVENT FIXED ONE THING! I HAVE 3 LIL KIDS WHICH I FEAR FOR THERE SAFTY INSIDE AND OUT OF THIS PLACE! THERES ALWAYS FIGHTS, LOUD PARTIES, COPS ALWAYS COME THRU HERE AND SECURITY BARELY DOES THERE JOB! PEOPLE ACTUALLY JACK THE DRYERS HERE AND EVERYTHING ELSE THEY CAN GET THERE HANDS ON! I HATE THIS PLACE! AND THE MAIN REASON IS BECAUSE THE MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST EVER!!!! ALSO, U CAN BE A CRAZY PERSON AND CAUSE PROBLEMS BUT AS LONG AS YOU PAY YOUR RENT YOU CAN STAY. BUT IF YOUR A GOOD PERSON WITH A FAMILY AND ARE HAVING A HARD TIME WITH MAKING A MONTHS RENT THERE QUICK TO EVICT YOU. AND IF YOU WANT TO MOVE OUT, THEY CHARGE YOU EXTRA TO MOVE OUT AND ALSO FOR THAT MONTHS RENT! SO YOU HAVE TO STAY! THEY ALSO ARE JUST NOW OPENING A EMPTY PART OF THE COMPLEX THAT HAS BEEN CLOSED DOWN FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS! GOES TO SHOW HOW SLOW THEY ARE HERE!!! ONE MORE THING, THERE IS NO RENT CONTROL, SO THEY GO UP ON YOUR RENT ALL THE TIME! THERE IS A FEW PEOPLE ACTUALLY PAYING $1600. FOR A TWO BEDROOM ONE BATH APARTMENT!!!! COME ON!!!IF YOU HAVE HALF A MIND YOU WOULDNT MOVE HERE! ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE SOUTHWOOD GHETTO APARTMENTS!!!!!

I see the more thngs change the more they stay the same. I posted my review of SW Gardens when I lived there in 2004! That place should be condemed. Its a shame that working class people who need affordable housing have to subject themselves and their family to live in hell. The management is equal to slum lords who will rent to anybody. SW Gardens Are glorified projects with bootleg managers and maintenance is a joke. Run for your life, keep ur kids safe and pray you'll find a better place I did after my 6 month lease when they tried to raise my rent $200 more I was outta there. I want more out of life than to work all day and come home with my kids to louds ass hoodlums and thieves. Good Luck stay encouraged and you will find better.
