I have lived in many many apartments up and down the peninsula, and I have not found a better apartment complex than this one for this price range.

I have been here for about 2 years. I do not have any complaints except for my upstairs neighbor. She has the footsteps of an elephant that shake my apartment. That being said, the ceiling/floors are not as thin as other places I've lived at. And the walls are thick. I am on the 2nd floor, and I never hear any neighbors BUT my elephant neighbor upstairs.

I have not had any problems with office staff. I feel that they have been pretty responsive and friendly. The Maintenance staff are excellent! You can not get better and quicker maintenance service anywhere.

With the better rental rates nowadays, I have had my rent reduced automatically twice now, without even having to ask.

The apartment office also organizes various events throughout the year (BBQ, brunch, provide Christmas wrapping materials over Christmas season, etc.) which help to make the place feel more like home.

Best features of these apartments: central AC/heating, decent carpeting, secured building, assigned underground garage space, pretty good amount of closet space.

See other reviews too. I think all the reviews have some truth to them. (I haven't had any run-ins with the manager though.) Next time I would go with a top-floor apartment though.
