been loving it

my family moved into this complex, right before construction was set to start on the very building we moved into. frankly, the experience wasn't too bad. i work the swing shift, so i always sleep in late, and i was seldom disturbed. our baby had no issues sleeping, either. when i was woken up, i always managed to easily fall asleep. the construction on my side of the building has been finished for weeks. the water was recently turned off twice for about 2 hrs each time for some kind of maintenance. again, no big deal.
the staff is nice, they seem really attentive, and often ask about how things are going w/ the apartment. the surrounding area has many conveniences, and we seldom need drive outside of going to work or school. the building is well maintained, and one often sees staff people cleaning. when we first moved in, i was worried the laundry facilities would be busy, but that hasn't been the case. if i had to come up w/ a complaint, i'd say there should be more recycling bins. even though they are emptied at least twice a week, they fill up very fast. oh, yeah, the elevator's certificate is apparently expired, but i'm sure not saying anything, as i don't want to walk up and down the stairs all the time!
i was very surprised by the very negative reviews. either we as a family are waaaay mellow, or some folks are wound too tight. i'd recommend this place w/ no reservations.
