I lived at this complex for one years, from August 99 to August 2000.

Mr John T Liau is the owner of these apartments.



He took 600$ from us as security and in the last month, he said that he will not give us back the security because the bathroom was too dirty and he had a lot of water bill. (water bill was high)

He said the bill was high because the water had leaked in the bathtub and we did not tell him.



Infact, we DID tell him, and even so, does a not-so-clean bathroom and a little extra water dripping out of the tub, for 1 month (maximum), account for 600$ '
So we told him, and his man arrived late (a week or 2)to fix it.

Then he said we had destroyed the carpet, when INFACT we got it steam cleaned ourselves in the middle of the lease! (which he never did)

So we left the carpet in a BETTER condition than what we got!

If you live in this apartment, have pictures taken to prove the condition of the apartment at the time of renting.



600$, Mr John T Liau. I will not forget.

This was our first lease in USA, and a friend of ours (hes an apartment manager himself) told us, that for a dirty bathroom or even a carpet, the maximum money taken is 100$, and thats all.

And for the water, the owner is responsible.
