Grand Central Square Apartments

306 West 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013

01/22/08 by I just want to say that GCS Apartments is one of the best deals I found. It is a great historic building and at a great location. My favorite bar (Redwood) is down the street and everything is walking distance. I am 2 blocks from the Metro (train) and I can take it to Pasadena to visit my parents. Also, I heard from City of LA that they are planning to re-open the Million Dollar Theater more

Bixel At Fifth

1311 W 5th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017

07/04/12 by anonymous: No piece of mind. The building has nice amenities and the staff are friendly. However, you can hear EVERYTHING above and below you. Yes everything. If it is not the stereo/TV/dishwasher/normal talking/opening and closing of cabinets/etc... it is the constant THUD THUD THUD of walking around. It gets even better when the crappy buildings next door decide to throw a party or the police more

Diplomat Apartments

10751 Rose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90034

02/17/13 by stephaniegrossman: I have lived here for over three years. I am a single female student and the reason I like the building is for the quiet to study. Also close to UCLA and the area is central and safe. Some of the complaints about the upper units being noisy I cannot stay as I was on the ground level and did not hear much. Beautiful trees and gardens around the pool. There is a new manager who is really good. more

TENTEN Wilshire

1010 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017

09/03/11 by SG753: Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I have really enjoyed my stay at 1010. My husband and I have a business in northern CA but recently needed to come to LA for a project. We leased at 1010 due to the convenience of it being fully furnished and all-inclusive. My daughter and I spent the last 8 months at 1010 and sadly are going to be leaving to go back up to northern CA. We will more

Glenrock Regency

507 Glenrock Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90024

02/27/14 by el_mory_90: DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THESE GUYS. It's been more than a month since I left the apartment and I'm still waiting for my deposit to be returned. They keep beating around the bush and deliberately avoiding my calls. At some point they even tried to argue that my lease was for 6 months rather than 3. During my 3 month stay in the place, (which btw was the lowest end, filthiest dump more

Midvale Plaza Ii

527 Midvale Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024

06/30/14 by Verified Resident: Overall, very clean and great community. The apartment itself is of very high quality and is a great place to live. The amenities are very well kept and of high quality as well. My only complaint will have to be the internet. It can get very faulty at sometimes and can be a hindrance. more

Oxford Gardens Apartments

951 South Oxford, Los Angeles, CA 90006

11/16/12 by anonymous: In reply to the 5/9/2012 post from the manager, I'm a renter and can vouch that there definitely is a pest (roach/ant) problem here. Even the manager has roaches. As far as replying to concerns, they should be more professional and call to confirm maintenance appointments in addition to leaving notices. javascript:openWin(345, 385, more

Poinsettia Club Apartments

1444 N Poinsettia Place, Los Angeles, CA 90046

08/08/12 by anonymous: You get a good deal in this area. However, the apartments are not cheap...and they are treated as so. Having only one maintenance person is inadequate for a building this size. The laundry room is very dirty and almost every common area smells of pet urine. I understand only so much can be done, but I shouldn't see cockroaches in the same area I'm supposed to clean my clothes in. more

Swall Towers

311 S Swall Dr # 103, Los Angeles, CA 90048

01/03/12 by anonymous: This is the worst place i ever lived. Bugs all over. Management is petty and nasty as is the Owner. Noise is horrendous at all hours of the night because it is near the hospital so you get awakened out of a deep sleep by ambulance sirens at all hours of the night and it smells bad in the hallways. Surrounding apartment buildings in neighborhood have bars around windows so that tells you a lot more
