10/05/11 by anonymous: Its not the best place, but with Westwood high prices you'll get enough for your money. The 505 building is pretty quite.Loundry is ok but it's better go to 501's loundry room (it's the same plaza). The ladlord, Tatiana, is very cool. Always friendly, responsible. To fix any problem at my apartment took maximum 2 days. more

02/10/14 by anonymous: Building now has a roach problem. The managers are terrible and the management company is a mystery. They keep it so you can't talk to anyone but the managers. The building is slowly deteriorating. Parking is difficult and they charge an extra $150 to park in the lot. A Westside Rental sign is constantly posted at the front gate because of the turn-over. more

03/25/10 by ilmostrorosso@yahoo.com: Peggy and Ben have been managers at the Gramercy Wilshire for the past twenty years. They are not on the internet so they have been unaware of these reviews which seem to be slanted against the building and management. I have lived here since 1995 and find the landlord to be quite responsive to my maintenance requests. The rent is reasonable with all utilities included. The laundry room is more

08/02/13 by anonymous: We have lived here for almost 4 years - so it is relatively good compared to other downtown la choices. However, it is still the worst renting experience of my life. Like other downtown properties you will be trapped in 1 year leases forever. After so many years, haven't I done "my time" and should be able to move giving a 30 day notice? The annual renewal process is usually more

02/08/14 by jps4_1976@yahoo.com: I live in the apartments next door to the Westwood Riviera and in the past year I dont know who is Managing it but there are loud parties all the time. My guess is they are renting to alot of teens which is more crime, more issues. They need some type of control otherwise I will be calling the police. Out of control! more

02/11/13 by anonymous: The building itself is nice and pretty well-maintained. The location is perfect, close to UCLA, Santa Monica, Century City, and the 405 highway. HOWEVER, THE STAFF IS RUDE. Both the management staff and security don't have respect for the residents. One staff loves to cut in, and he really is not friendly at all. The security does not smile very often, probably two more

09/07/10 by anonymous: I have been living here for the past two years and thank god I finally moved out of this joint. Here is why: 1. Expect a lot of noise - walls are paper thin, partying and TV broadcasting every night and most of all, you can hear every footstep of your neighbor above you. You can complaint and call the guards but the noises will return the next night (trust me) 2. Management is slow on more

02/06/12 by wtf_and_stuff: I signed up for this just to respond to that crybaby complaining about Deb. Let me just say that Deb is awesome. We became fast friends when she first started (I was there 8 years). The person who is complaining about Deb probably can't keep up with her because she is very blunt and doesn't take BS from wimpy, complainy tenants. If you are up front and honest, she will respect you more

01/29/13 by anonymous: This apartment has its good and bad, and unfortunately the bad outweighs the good Pro: 1. Cheap and Utilities are paid for 2. The common areas are kept pretty clean -- like the hallways or the front 3. There is a security guard after 9pm. Francis is one of the best security guard and makes you feel as if the building is secure (but the other security guards don't really seem like they more

11/26/12 by anonymous: When I moved in, the management was still under Forest City. The staff were courteous, friendly, and respond to inquiries promptly. In early 2011, the management changed to Alliance. That's when Met Lofts started going downhill. The staffs are not friendly, they are not responsive, they promised they would handle matters right away, but always ended up not doing more
