The Joshua Apts

1353 N Martel Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046

11/02/13 by anonymous: I have been living here for a couple of months now and I couldn't be more satisfied. First of all, the landlord is amazing. She's taking care of the residents and the building in a very professional way. I didn't inspect my apartment before I moved in, but she told me that I would love it and explained the details very carefully to make sure that I got all the important more

Playa Marina Apts

12427 West Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066

04/15/14 by anonymous: Can't beat the location. I've lived here for almost two years. Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. The new manager we got this past year is super nice and very responsive to any issues. Secure parking, too. more

Park Rochester

10969 Rochester Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024

06/29/11 by anonymous: The management company is hoping you don't do your own price comparisons. If you do a bit of research into prices of nearby apartments (even the luxury apartments within a block or two), you will almost certainly be able to find one that is bigger, nicer, and less expensive or about the same price. The units are priced as if they were luxury apartments, but they are not. The more

Casa De Vida Apartments

3450 Sawtelle Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90066

06/18/14 by anonymous: People: be smart and filter the fake 5-stars review here. We all know companies pay to have "good reviews" in this or any website. Let me tell you my experience, then you decide. I wanted to rent a 1br apt for $2000 a month. The apartment itself is decent, but still way overpriced. Just so you know you are EXACTLY next to the 405. Also, the building is ANCIENT. The elevators must be more

962 Chauteau Hilgard

962 Hilgard Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024

08/04/14 by anonymous: Bugs. I'm not sure where they come from. The manager is pretty nice, but in the beginning it was rough because we had an issue about them sending these scary notices about trying to vacate us. Don't be scared. Know your renter's rights (the very little ones that we have in LA). They're not doing anything illegal. They just make it look scary. Maintenance can be 1-7 days more

Barry Apartments

1145 Barry Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90049

08/22/11 by LAnewbee: You pay for living in Brentwood. $1850 a month for a basic apartment with a tiny kitchen. Yes there is a pool, but it is hardly ever clean. If you want to swim, you have to go two blocks to their "sister" apartments on Barrington and Wilshire. There is secure parking, which is a bonus. Now to the bad stuff. My apartment had a lot of problems when my roommate and I first moved more

Casa Serrano Apartments

245 S Serrano Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90004

12/03/11 by anonymous: Most everyone in the complex smokes. The windows are all single pane and the second had smoke enters the apartment. Walls are thin, floors are thin, you can hear people having relations. Windows do not close all the way. Restrictive hours on a single pair of washer and dryer for the floor. more

Eaves Los Feliz (formerly Archstone Los Feliz)

3100 Riverside Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027

05/02/13 by anonymous: Worst apartment I have ever lived at! There is no parking & the noise is absolutely horrible! The women and the gay guy in the office are horrible people and constantly harass the tenants. There are tons of noisy kids running around, and the apartment facilities are very low class. Everything is cheap such as the cardboard doors, the cheap floors and disgusting kitchens. WAY OVER PRICED. more

Media Towers I Apts

1660 Wilton Place, Los Angeles, CA 90028

07/18/11 by anonymous: I have lived in many apartments, own a home and had great experiences. In 2005 I rented an apartment in this building and it was the worst experience I have ever encountered. Recently, I moved back to California and trying to find a rental property, my credit report was ran (for the first time in a while) and an EVICTION pops up from this address. I had no idea this was on my more

Midvale Towers

1441 Midvale Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024

08/16/13 by anonymous: The place has gone downhill, lots of students, lots of noise and trash everywhere. Management likes to "come up" with reasons to enter the apartments, often without 24 hours notice. Construction updates started in April and look to be heading to a five month mark. It has wreaked havoc, no one was warned all the cement dust would get on the cars or in the above the car more
