07/15/04 by anonymous: A once-proud historical art deco palace that fell into slum-level disrepair under a series of corrupt owners. reached rock-bottom when a consortium under Charles Kairys gutted the fixtures and looted residents' deposits in a failed bankruptcy and left a previous owner, Mary Bowles, holding the bag. Enter LAHP, who bought out the place. While abusive of some residents in clearing the building more
09/14/11 by smile2u: I moved into this apartment in summer 2011, after some very nice communications with the property manager. Her great professionalism, sense of ownership, kindness and attention to details has made me feel very positive about it here. During moving in, I've met neighbors from different floors, and they all smiled and tried to offer help. Moreover, they all said the same more

I currently am a tennant here, I am very happy! Maintenance is fast, well organized. Management is so nice and friendly, really great to deal with. Apartments are nice, building and laundry room is always clean and in two years I have yet to find anything not working. My favorite thing about these apartments is the fact that they are BUG FREE!!! I have yet to see a roach more
11/01/12 by anonymous: this place was pretty good, i never had any problems. a few minor concerns: the building is on a hill, so you often had to still take some stairs in order to get to the elevator. that makes moving very difficult. also, there wasn't enough street parking for visitors, so i could never have any parties. finally, exiting the parking lot onto overland is kind of dangerous. more

Building has good security so I never had any problems with theft or anything. But laudry facility is old and some of the machines are not always working, which is quite annoying. I've also had some pest problems, (roaches and ants), which seem to occur every year. The more
09/12/13 by anonymous: I've lived in this building for over 14 years. The best thing about Clinton Manor is its location - walking distance to Larchmont Village. The second best thing is the grounds - it's beautifully landscaped and maintained very well. The units themselves have some charm, but having been built around 80 years ago, it really isn't equipped for life in the 21st century. Outlets are more
05/04/07 by anonymous: Overall the apartment building is good (trapped in the 70's, but good).
The singles are large, carpeted and provide ample closet space.
The only real negative about the apartment is the parking problem. The building has parking but it is divided up between several buildings so your name must go on a waiting list, then once you finally get a spot (possibly years later) it more
01/28/03 by anonymous: When I moved to Los Angeles I had a hard time finding a place. But the manager at this apartment was great. She returned my calls and was very nice.
The studio was a good size for the price. About $550-$600 a month. Tenants were great. Pool was fun especially in the summer. When they pest controlled though the roaches did come out but we never had a problem on the second floor only by the more

Plenty of parking spaces, plenty of play area for young children to play around, very safe and quiet neighborhood, nicely kept facility, complementary laundry mat and very friendly and respectable staff members. Cant find a better apartment at this price! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! more
