Viewing Review - First, I want to preface this by saying that I am not a resident of Crenshaw Village. My wife and I viewed a few of the apartments in the complex. Here was our impressions: The price was excellent. In the Los Angeles area, it's almost impossible to find a 1 bedroom for less than $900. Furthermore, it was quite spacious for the price. The same realty company owns basically ...Full review of Crenshaw Village

Small ceilings, thin walls - I lived her from 5/04-5/06 and stay away from anything on the second floor......you can hear everyone walking above you and the walls are super thin. I'm 6ft tall and I could touch the ceiling with my hand without jumping. The unit is small, but cute with a balcony and management seemed pretty cool. I would definetely ONLY ask for high ceilings and somewhere on the third floor. If you ...Full review of Enclave Apartments

Out of its prime - This building with its management is horrible. Sure, there are a lot worse in LA but this one has a unique funk attached to it.
It is only feet away from the never ending traffic of Hollywood Boulevard.. all day.. all night.

Management NEVER fixes anything in a prompt manner. This little lady runs the place and whenever she feels like she is at fault she tries to laugh it off or ...Full review of Hollywood Villa

Loves It! - I moved into my apartment in late February and so far things have been great! The building is quiet and my issues are resolved FAST. The tenants are awesome and friendly. We always run into each other when walking our dogs... The apt. is located in Hollywood, close to the Scientology building bordering Little Armenia and Thai Town. The only complaint would be street parking. It's hard ...Full review of 1535 North Hobart Boulevard

Good, Pricey - I have a bachelor, and have been here about four months. The apartment itself is what you'd expect for its priciness: spacious, hardwood floors (not all have this), big windows and balcony (my balcony is larger than most), high ceilings, new stainless-steel appliances, washer and dryer in-apartment. The location is excellent - pretty quiet since I'm on a side ...Full review of Victor on Venice

Not Perfect, but worth the location - I moved into the building in 2006. It is not perfect, but I still love it and I am very happy here. I think it helps that I live in a top floor end unit. Prior to living here, I lived in an apartment for the first time in my life (just down the street on Hollywood Blvd) and I swore I would never live in anything other than a top floor unit after that. I have absolutely no problems ...Full review of Casa Palmero Condominiums

1920's Iconic Charm - The Fontenoy is a beautiful art-deco building, an elegant structure that can be seen from many of Hollywood's streets. The apartments are spacious with sunlight spilling in from multiple large windows, an abundance of closet space, and old-world detail. There is a well-sized pool nestled in a large lovely garden that you couldn't imagine hidden away a block north of ...Full review of Fontenoy Apartments

It's okay. nothing more, nothing less - The management has been doing a lot lately to spruce up the place - building a jaccuzzi, retiling the lobby and office, adding video surveilance, repairing the elevators, and just this week redoing the laundry room. That said, all of the repairs are being worked into the rent-controlled rents as aggressively as possible. You can't blame them for the practice, but ...Full review of Tamarind Terrace
