Nice complex, I like it - This apartment complex is pretty nice. The amenities are nice, gym, pool, hot tub, secured access, etc. Plus it's nice being above retail businesses because it makes it very convenient to go downstairs and get Starbucks. The building is pretty clean, the units are nice (granite counter tops, nice appliances, etc.). Maintenance is pretty prompt, so far ...Full review of Museum Gardens

Stay away from Essex. - The units are bright and spacious. That is about the only plus to living here. Ever since Essex Properties bought the building, things have gone downhill. They are doing a major renovation, and STILL raised the rent during construction. The people who work in the office are rude, condescending, and take their sweet time to fix any problem you might have. The walls are paper ...Full review of Marbella

Look Elsewhere - This place sucks! - I lived here for one year then ESCAPED. The building is in a sketchy neighborhood to begin with, the manager was overly friendly (almost stalke scary) and when you move out, they try to chest you out of your deposit. I had to threated to sue because they took repossesion of my unit 3 weeks early when I moved out (even though I paid for the full month) They never posted anything, and said they ...Full review of Marina East Apartments

Bad maintenance and support at Tuscany. BEWARE! - I will summarize my last year of life at Tuscany which is a sample of typical frustration... Last week I came home to find my kitchen sink over flowing with sewer backup. Hours later no maintenance was available. Disgusting, unsafe, and unhealthy would summarize that week. I had to stay in a hotel for two nights. During the course of this previous year I had MANY nights with no hot ...Full review of Tuscany

Was a nice place, but is going downhill... - I have lived here for a couple of years and it was a nice place at first, but it seems that the managers have taken less of an interest in allowing only tenanats move in that will take care of the property and be respectful of their neighbors. Tenants are always blaring their music in their vehicles as they drive down one of the two driveways on either side of the building (all apartments ...Full review of Casablanca North Apartments

disgusting. - Catalina Gardens is the worst place I have ever lived in. With in the first week of moving in, my entire dvd collection had been stolen. It was an inside job- someone had a key. The managers are so unprofessional, he left our apt key on his desk instead of putting it away in the lock box. We wanted to terminate our lease then, but we signed a year lease the week before and it would ...Full review of Catalina Apartments

- My husband and I started renting in August 2009 from this apartment. It is only October and we are looking to get out of the lease early. The management is useless when it comes to anything. Our outlets work when they want and maintence cant fix them. There is a HUGE cockroach problem that doesnt get fixed. We also had a ton of problems with the area gang called the Diablos. Unsafe building and Uncaring Management - 1. 6 cars in the 'secure' parking deck had the windows broken and contents stolen 2. There was no video of the incident and the management has done nothing to investigate this obvious 'inside' job 3. Residents saw 3 'suspect' individuals at 4am and did not call the police 4. Management did not assist victims with clean up: use of vaccum, brooms, new front door ...Full review of Ravenswood Apartments
