I lived at Waterstone for 18 months with my husband and dog and we were perfectly happy. The apartments are very "typical" as in they are very functional but not very updated or fancy. Faux granite type counter in the kitchen and bathroom (but at least it matches) and old cabinets in the kitchen. Our appliances were pretty new and it came with a fridge and built in microwave which was ...Full review of Waterstone at Cheviot Hills

This goes out to all those who are not too familiar with the leasing process. This place is an awesome location and great building manager but the ownership/leasing officer (Ms. Schweba) is a nightmare to deal with. I have dealt with countless residential leases throughout 10 years of undergrad and graduate (law school) living and this experience has, by far been the worst. I also am very ...Full review of Gayley Manor

I lived here from 2007-2011 and would recommend it. It is an older building, so yes there will be problems, however the management was always very responsive. Lucille, the older Russian lady, and her son took care of any issues that I had without me ever asking twice. There are new and nicer building in Hollywood, but you will pay more for less space and newer ammenites. ...Full review of Alexio Apartments

Ok all personal attacks on the manager aside because it should not be personal and this girl just makes herself look stupid, has nothing to do with the individual, he works for a CORPORATION idiot. I LOVE living at this building. Don't fall for stupid comments made by people who probably live at home with their parents after graduating from UCLA. This building is a GREAT place to ...Full review of Ariel Court Apartments

I have lived here for over three years. I am a single female student and the reason I like the building is for the quiet to study. Also close to UCLA and the area is central and safe. Some of the complaints about the upper units being noisy I cannot stay as I was on the ground level and did not hear much. Beautiful trees and gardens around the pool. There is a new manager who is really good. ...Full review of Diplomat Apartments
