The Talking Heads put it best - "You may find yourself living in a shotgun shack"
So - where do I start' Perhaps with the smell - or maybe I should tell you about the filthy carpets in the hallways of the main building, the creepy tenants, the ---- roaches who crawl agressively over everything, the spiders, flies, fleas, and mosquitos.
Maybe you'd like to hear about the crazy lady who routinely climbs the fence to rifle through the trash, or the homeless people who camp outside. No' How about the transvestite prostitutes that prowl the street corners and come INTO the compound looking for customers.
If not there's always the microscopic walk in closets they call bungalow rooms. You'll share this filthy living space with 5 or 6 other people, depending on who has company over. I'd also suggest showering with your flip flops on to avoid getting a disease. You'll also have to bring your own toilet paper into the restroom everytime you want to go.
So if filth, dispair and creepiness is your bag, fill it with Academy Apartments. If not, run. For the love of God..."RUN!"

The guy who wrote this review was evicted and has sought psychiatric help. The young actors who live on the property appreciate the safe quiet environment, and apartments continue to be 100% occupied.
