While apartments themselves quite nice, unless you are OK with dirty and smelly common areas, graffiti on your building, and an elevator that seems to be out of service every other week, don't move here. Rent prices are fairly decent but you are getting no bargain here. Good luck finding a parking space in the neighborhood and if you do, carry mace at night. Neighborhood is low-rent and trashy -- I'm talking literal heaps of trash and discarded furniture are a very common site. The worst part about it is that it is very noisy and you will not get a good nights sleep unless you are a heavy sleeper and can tolerate loud noises. Not only is this old building built is a way that you can pretty much here EVERYTHING (such as entire conversations of your neighbor and even them peeing), but the owner does not enforce the no-noise-after 10 p.m. policy. So, if you are unfortunate enough to have inconsiderate noisy neighbors that stay up all night and prohibit you from sleeping you are on your own to solve the problem even if you attempts to work it out with your neighbor are unfruitful.
