Plenty of walking distance shopping and a convenient location for someone who does not want to depend on driving. Secure gated parking for $40 per month. Very urban neighborhood, utterly frightening if Simi Valley is where you really want live, but eclectic, safe, convenient and cheap if you are comfortable with an urban low-income environment. Great place if you have a dog.
Older building but well maintained. Owner/family managed. Electric paid. Laundry. Quiet and friendly residents. Rents start under $400. Top out at $650.
Latino immigrant neighborhood with a dense population. Reputation for crime (dope, gangs etc) BUT area has been safe and quiet for over two years. Better value than most bargain rentals in the area or in Hollywood.
