9 pros and 6 cons...but 1 con is a big one.

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
PROS
1. It is a new complex; thus, it is good shape.
2. The staff is typically prompt in responding to service requests.
3. Good location for quick access to the 405 and 10.
4. The pool and gym are nice and are well maintained.
5. Nice atmosphere, grounds are well kept.
6. Adequate parking spaces, for residents and vistors. Additional spaces are available for purchase.
7. Dog friendly in one of three buildings, cat friendly everywhere.
8. Washer and dryer in unit.
9. It typically is a very quiet complex. Sometimes I wonder if anyone else lives here; however...
CONS
1. The walls are thin. If you live next to or under someone with a stereo system you will feel the bass.
2. Expensive - I'm guessing it is probably, at least, $200 too much. I pay $1870.00 for a one bedroom apartment. Keep in mind this is LA and the complex is west of the 405, so most complexes in this area that are deemed "nice" are also expensive.
3. The elevators are ssssslllllllllllllloooowwww and sometimes they don't work.
4. The parking garage gates are typically being repaired.
5. Maybe this is the case with most LA apartment complexes, but come renewal time, your rent goes up.
6. There is no incentive to renew your lease, the management doesn't care "if you stay or if you go now".
Overall - I would have stayed, if they did't jack up my rent by $180.00...a month.
