I as well as my two good friends have lived here for the past 4 months and have nothing but positives to report. The staff is incredibly helpful and social as well as professional. You almost feel like you are living in a hotel! The buildings are taken great care of and the premises are very clean! Of course we hear an occasional footstep here and there as we live on the 3rd floor but that has to be expected when living in a multiple level building, nothing more than you would experience in a two story home. We only had one slight problem, problem is not even the word, more like hitch... after a week of rain we noticed some ants. We let the management know on a Thursday and the next day (Friday) Terminix was here and sprayed. It has been a good 2 months since and no sight of the ants! This is how on top of things the staff is here! The location is awesome as it is tucked away right off of Jefferson. There is no traffic trying to get out of the area... as there would be in Playa Vista. Very quiet area and very professional group of renters.
The gym is awesome and kept very clean and... it is open 24 HOURS A DAY!!!! Game room is awesome with the shuffleboard table and pool table!
They just switched security companies and you can see them visibly at night. I have never questioned the security of this building and have felt very safe at all times.
The only (negative) that we got from this building is the carpet in the living room and dining room. This would be the apartment of everyone's dreams if it had wood flooring. We looked around at other apartments that had wood flooring but none were comparable to Avalon Del Rey.
Ok jeez I sound like I work here.... But I cannot recommend this apartment enough! Once you visit with the leasing staff you will feel sure that this is the place to be!

I agree!!!! Avalon del Rey is amazing, and I almost made the mistake of listening to all of the negative comments on this website. but instead i decided to take a leap of faith and try things out and i am so glad i did!!!
