I've lived here long enough to feel that my opinion will be valuable to the readers. The building aged quite a bit in the last few years, my unit has a mildew smell that's getting worse by the month. Yes, the building leaks during the rainy season; there may mold somewhere in the walls. Despite all that I will highly recommend this building since it is the least expensive one of the kind on this GREAT, SAFE neighborhood. Roof top is a killer! 360 unobstructed view of LA. Residents don t seem to use it much, myself included. It is neighboring Hancock Park and if you know LA it is THE BEST, most central location to all important areas and freeways - traffic wise too. It is what it is - it's an economy building built in late 80-s, there is a few of the same look-alikes on Detroit, very dated. Every possible corner was cut during construction. The owners can't care less to maintain the building right, but on the brighter side - if they were to put new carets and new counter tops they could cream $500 extra per month easy. Many residents appreciate that they didn't and mind their own business. Building is quiet otherwise, not too many families with small children. No pets allowed either. The management is fine. It was alright before too - old grumpy guy - big deal.
