Section 8 Housing

What they don't tell you on your tour is that about 30% of the building is reserved for Section 8 Housing. What this means is that you'll be paying $2500 for a two bedroom, and your next door neighbor's apartment is only $1000, and of that, your neighbor only pays a small portion, with the rest covered by the Housing Authority. This likely means you'll be living next to a dead beat or a large family, generally non-English speaking. You'll find that these Section 8 people ruin most of your time spent at Broadcast Center. They are loud, they bathe in the pool, they litter the garage and hallways; that is, they have no respect for other tenants. Imagine living next to the person who takes your McDonald's order. That's Broadcast Center.
P.S. THERE IS NO PARKING FOR VISITORS. They have 10 spots to cover visitor parking for about 400 tenants.
