HORRIBLE place to live

The previous comments about the construction are true. It sometimes begins very early in the morning, as well. People in my unit can't hear through walls, but can hear huge amounts of noise from the unit above. The commotion upstairs shakes the ceiling. Maintenance is slow and must be reminded several times, sometimes over the course of weeks. Leasing office is disorganized and regularly makes billing errors. The office sometimes leaves rude and untimely "reminders" for residents, like the one many units received a few months ago at around 6pm one night, informing them that if all furniture and possessions weren't removed from the balconies by morning, the stuff would get painted AND the residents would be fined. This was especially inconvenient for the units that had a few hours to figure out where to stow an entire set of outdoor furniture in the tiny apartments. Last week, all water was shut off for a few hours with no warning from the office. This is not atypical. You can get more space for less money and less aggravation in this neighborhood pretty easily.

The construction has been totally mishandled. This was once a very nice place to live, but for the past six months they have been charging top dollar while making little effort to complete work on public areas like the front entrance and the community room. No front entrance! For seven months! I think it would get done much quicker if anybody actually did any work on it, but it is usually an abandoned construction site. There are signs for "upgrades" like a wireless cafe and a meditation garden, but there has been no sign of these amenities. Besides which, who cares about this? A better rug in the halls would make more sense. Work has dragged on for months but very little gets accomplished. I know they are renovating apartments, but all that's happened in the the public spaces is demolition and nothing gets completed. Oh, there's some new plants and pool furniture, but it does not improve the quality of living. It's quite sad, really.
