Yo!

I LOVE this place, for real. If you don't move here, you are CRAZY.

First of all, let me say they just finished re-vamping this place, and it looks spectacular! I'm from out of state, and when my old friends come out to visit, they always are so impressed with my apartment complex. For real.

The location, you can't beat it. That's what you're really paying for. You're right next door to The Grove, and I'm the laziest person ever, and I WALK. There is also great shops off of Beverly, as well as 3rd. Whole Foods, and some super expensive store downstairs called erewhon, you know, if you're down with that sort of thing.

Hollywood is about 5 minutes driving, as well as Robertson.

The security, they are AMAZING. For real, the very first night my room-mate and I moved in, the security gave us the 'Security Hotline Number', which is a cell phone they carry around for all the residents to get ahold of them any time, 24/7. He even came to check on us a couple of times to make sure we were okay since we were moving in during the middle of the night!

The construction is basically GONE. There is NO MORE MAJOR CONSTRUCTION! The only construction is in the parking garages. The place is QUIET, unless it's my room-mate and myself running around... :)

It's beautiful.

The management really works with you, and they are always asking you how everything is.

AND, I actually flooded my apartment a few weeks ago. (I left the bath water running. DUMB.) It was after hours, and I called security, they called up the main maintenance man, AFTER HOURS, and he came up right away to rip up my carpet and fix it. He DID NOT have to do that! I wasn't charged for my stupid mistake either, which is really surprising.

The people who live here range in variety. I'm a college student, and there aren't many in this complex, if that's a plus or minus for you I'm not sure. However, there are several young working individuals, many ranging from around mid twenties to early thirties, I'd say. I've even seen a few retirees, a cute older couple actually parks right next to us! I haven't seen many families though, there have been a few...

I've never seen a gym as fabulous as this one. It's well decorated, it's not like your typical gym with neon white walls and blinding lights. It's a comfortable place. You can even see the Hollywood sign.

Everyone is super friendly, and respectful!

The only downsides are the elevators are hit or miss. They normally work, but every now and then they are on the fritz.

It is pretty pricey, however, you're paying for the fabulous location, and you're in LA. It's going to be pretty expensive anywhere you go.

Also, you have assigned parking spaces, but if you have a two bedroom, you'll have to park one behind the other...which sucks when you have to leave and your room mate or yourself has to move the car!

...last thing: I do not like the fact there aren't any washer and dryer connections. There is laundry on site, which they totally just re did. You have to have a laundry card though, and it's kind of a hassle.

If I weren't moving to San Diego, I'd renew my lease.
