HORRIBLE!

moved here a few months before the renovation...wasn't even warned by leasing office. 3 months into living there, we were slapped with a notice saying that we have 60 days to move out or we have to move into a renovated unit with a 500 dollar increase! we decided to stick around because we just moved there...

BAD CHOICE!

construction was NONSTOP...pounding, wheeling, hammering...insane! then, the day of our "move" into our new unit, we walked in (with our hired movers), and the place is unfinished. the appliances weren't even installed!!! how do they apologize' with a $50 cheesecake factory gift card. hello' we hired movers! we worked around our working schedule! we packed everything up!

and renovations' can't open the oven door without opening a cabinet because it was built wrong. how ghetto is that' FOUR cabinet doors fell off the hinges so we had to get that fixed. they didnt completely finish renovations...leaving boxed unfinished light fixtures in our unit, leaking washer/dryer, etc. RIDICULOUS!!! everything in this place looks luxurious, but it's cheap and built terribly!

call for maintenance...you'll end up calling more than once and waiting ALL day for them. they'll NEVER give you a definite time and they'll come at the very end of the day or not show up at all.

leasing office was really nice...until recently. they've sort of obtained this hollywood attitude about themselves and act very superior to the tenants. you ALWAYS need to follow up with this office regarding ANY issues. these people get paid with the high rent we pay and yet they never do anything up to satisfaction.

for the price you pay...THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT!!!

im now living in a cheaper and much more spacious apartment in a great location. it may not be as luxurious as broadast center, but the leasing office is genuinely nice and maintenance is at your door within the hour.

if you decide to move here...good luck. dont say you weren't warned!

You must be an extremely rare case. I just moved in and all the people I met here love it!

I bumped into a group of residents standing in the hallway complaining about how terrible the management is in this building. There are obviously a lot of extremely unhappy folks living at the Broadcast Center. It's not that hard to manage the building better: 1) be polite to the tenants and 2) try to address problems in a timely manner. We don't expect anything miraculous, just due diligence. AIMCO can't even manage that.
