Decent apartment with good amenities... 70's construction is starting to show its age. Water is brown and tastes pretty bad. Apartments are dark and unfortunatly the one that I live in is right accross from the loading dock of the Wachovia Tower... its is LOUD ALL THE TIME. There is always a repair crew or a garbage truck parked over there with their back up siren wailing at all hours of the day/night. Good thing I get up early every day and don't try to work from there or I'd go nuts. Same deal on the weekends though 7AM saturday and sunday morning there is always someone banging on something over there.

Pricing is afordable and street parking usually isn't a problem. Within walking distance to all brentwood amenities. I'd recommend the place as better than average (for most the buildings built in the same era that are around that area), but make sure you don't rent a unit that faces Barry avenue because you'll never be able to sleep or relax.
