I rented the guest room for a while before I moved into a studio. Apartment is the best in the vicinity - right value for the money. Neighbourhood is safe - Feels good to take a nice evening walk; Close proximity to grocery (Whole Food is at a walking distance), Post office, nice restaurants (Do try Thai Bamboo, Didi's Reese, Bergamot), coffee shops, ATM etc. Apartment amenities and maintenance is very good and prompt. Office staff is accessible at all times. I had no issues with the place at all. If I ever moved back to Santa Monica, I would rent this complex again!
